Amada joined the School of Physical Therapy in October 2015. As a San Antonio native, she loves San Antonio and watching how much the city has grown over the past 20 years. Amada received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from San Antonio College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Multi-Disciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso. She earned her master's degree in Defense and Strategic Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso in December of 2019. Amada has over ten years experience in the healthcare field and eight years experience in higher education. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and close friends. She is also a movie buff who loves science fiction, comedy and scary movies.
