Congratulations Class of 2024! You are nearing the end of your academic career with the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of the Incarnate Word. October 2, 2023 PRIORITY DEADLINE – Deadline to apply for May 2024 Graduation to start the audit process with the Registrar's Office. Information is provided by the Registrar’s Office by email on how to apply.
February 1, 2024
  • Site opens for ordering regalia, announcements and/or ring for commencement. Regalia ordered through this site is rental only and must be returned following the ceremony. If you wish to purchase regalia, contact Herff-Jones.  Please note there is a six-week turnaround for purchased (not rental) regalia.
  • You will need to provide your height, weight and cap size (measure the circumference of the head one inch above the ears).
  • Rented regalia will be delivered to the school.
  • Note: There is no deadline to order announcements or a ring but the turnaround time is 8 weeks or more for delivery.
Visit the Herff-Jones website to order your regalia.
  1. Under "Products" click on Cap and Gown.
  2. On the University of the Incarnate Word Page, click on the "select an option" drop-down list and select "Master of Science in Athletic Training," then click "Shop."
  3. Complete the information as requested. You will need your height, weight and cap size (measure the circumference of your head one inch above the ears). This is for rental purposes only. If you wish to purchase your regalia, contact a member of the university bookstore.
  4. To order announcements, ring or diploma frame, follow Step 1 above by clicking on the appropriate tab for the item you wish to order.
March 1, 2024 DEADLINE - Last day to apply for May 2024 graduation to ensure publication entry. Information will be provided by the Registrar's Office by email on how to apply.
April 2, 2024 DEADLINE – Last day to order regalia for commencement. See instructions above.
To be announced DEADLINE - Return Confirmation of Ceremony Attendance to the Registrar's Office. This form is to confirm your attendance and to make sure that we have the correct pronunciation of your name. Details will be provided by the Registrar's Office by email or via Canvas course.

May 10, 2024 Baccalaureate Mass (tickets required for graduate and guests) 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., Chapel of the Incarnate Word
May 11, 2024 Commencement Ceremony (tickets required for guests)
  • Joe and Harry Freeman Coliseum, 3201 E. Houston St., San Antonio, TX 78219
  • 1:30 p.m., Arrive and assemble in the Exhibit Hall wearing your regalia
  • 2:00 p.m., Line up
  • 2:00 p.m., Doors open for guests
  • 2:40 p.m., Procession begins
  • 3:00 p.m., Ceremony starts

Commencement Photography: All students participating in commencement will be photographed. If you are interested in ordering photographs from the ceremony, go to TheGradTeam.com.

Disability Services: If you or your guest require accommodations for a disability, please follow the instructions provided in the Canvas Graduation Course and provide a minimum of one week's notice.

Driving Directions: View driving directions to the Joe and Harry Freeman Coliseum.

Parking: A parking pass will be provided for each graduate when you request ceremony tickets. Graduates should park in Lot 9. Guests arriving in a separate car will need to park separately from the graduate and pay for parking. Guests will be able to park in Lots 1-8. Please note that parking for guests will be $10, cash only.

Tickets: Tickets are required for both the Baccalaureate Mass and the Commencement ceremony. The Registrar's Office will send out a link to request tickets. The ticket portal will open on April 8, 2024. Each graduate will be able to request up 3 tickets for Baccalaureate Mass and up to 16 tickets for the Commencement ceremony. One ticket for the Baccalaureate Mass is needed by the graduate. The graduate will not need a ticket for the Commencement ceremony. You will also be able to retrieve your parking pass for commencement when you access the ticket portal.
